Here we have generic throttle shaft bushings which are also known as butterfly shaft bearings.
They are specifically for throttle shafts with an outside diameter of 8 mm.
Wear in the throttle shafts, the carburetor body or in these bushings can mean a critical failure of the carburetor and make it virtually impossible to make the engine idle.
Most carburetors employ shafts of said 8 mm diameter and with these replacement bushings, you can give them a new lease of life.
We can supply a total of 4 different bushings and we advise you to replace the existing busings with a similar type and size (length):
- Steel spring bushing - smooth
- Brass - 8 mm long - serrated
- Brass - 10 mm long - serrated
- Brass - 20 mm long - serrated
Please not that all of the above bushings have an inside diameter of 8 mm and an outside diameter of 10 mm.
The brass versions have a serrated section in the middle that allows then to be lodged securely in the body of the carburetor and prevents them from spinning.
Please check carefully which type and size is required for your specific carburetor as there are unfortunately no cross-reference lists available!
