This is a factory original rebuild "Biased Adjustable" metering needles for a Zenith / Stromberg 175 CD carburetor.

To keep some order in the chaos of the Zenith metering needles, we have decided to bundle them per type.
We use the same classification as Zenith Stromberg themselves and this article covers the so-called ".100" Metering Needle (Biased Adjustable) needles.
Naturally, dozens of versions of these have been produced over the years, and we keep a limited stock of them.
It would be virtually impossible to photograph all the types individually, especially since the differences in thickness are measured to four decimal places (in inches!), which is not visible to the naked eye in a photo.
Usually, the type of needle you have is stamped into the needle itself, but often some cleaning and a magnifying glass are necessary to clearly see which type you have.
This here is a starting list of the most popular needles, and those that are generally available from our inventory.
We will also use the English terms used by Zenith itself and try to follow the order used in the Needle Profile Charts:
- B1AF Metering Needle - B20376
- B1AQ Metering Needle - B20217
- B1BH Metering Needle - B20958
- B1DK Metering Needle - B23619
- B1DS Metering Needle - B25265
- B1EJ Metering Needle - B25064
- B1FD Metering Needle - B27098
- B1FG Metering Needle - B27180
- B1FK Metering Needle - B27279
- B2BD Metering Needle - B25066
- 45G Metering Needle - B24761
- 45R Metering Needle - B26059
You can order the needle(s) you require by selecting them from the Type ?* dropbox just above the Order button.
Before purchasing, please check carefully that this is the correct needle for your carburetor and car, as Stromberg Zenith has produced literally hundreds of different needles over the years, each with its own effect on the fuel/air mixture.
This item is sold individually and is therefore priced individually. Required quantity per carburetor: 1

This is number 3 on the drawing for the Stromberg Zenith 175CD carburetor.

If you are unsure which jet needle you need for your carburetor, or if "your" needle is not listed, please contact us; we are happy to help.
If possible, please look up the "carburetor number" beforehand. This can be found somewhere on the carburetor and is usually a 4-digit code followed by a letter.
This will help us find the correct needle for you.
You can find our Contact Page HERE.
Please note that these carburetors are marketed under various brand names, such as Zenith, Stromberg, Solex, etc., but that they generally use the same components.
